Guild of Mindful Driver Trainer

Mindfulness means maintaining a moment-by-moment awareness of our thoughts, feelings, bodily sensations, and surrounding environment, through a gentle, nurturing lens.

Mindfulness also involves acceptance, meaning that we pay attention to our thoughts and feelings without judging them—without believing, for instance, that there’s a “right” or “wrong” way to think or feel in a given moment.

Topham Drive completed a 6 week course and are now proud members of the Guild.

Topham drive has now also complete another 8 week MBSR Course

What is mindfulness?

Mindfulness is an awareness that arises through paying attention in a particular way, on purpose, in the present moment, and non-judgmentally.

Scientific research has shown that regular mindfulness meditation practice changes the structure of your brain when you practise for 8 weeks or longer. It shrinks the fear centre of the brain (the amygdala), This is known as neuroplasticity. That change can help reduce anxiety and suffering. Mindfulness can also improve concentration, performance, and overall well-being.

It’s not a quick fix, but if you integrate it into your life, it can be very transformative - in your work, relationships and friendships.
